The 2025 London Wine Competition has once again brought global attention to outstanding wines that excel not only in quality, but also in value and presentation—factors that play a decisive role in consumer purchase behavior.
This year, Riesling was among the standout varietals, with styles ranging from crisp, citrus-driven dry wines to beautifully balanced off-dry and sweet selections. For merchants and on-trade buyers, these award-winning bottles deliver both broad consumer appeal and strong sales potential.
1) Master's Wigan Riesling is a Pale gold with lifted floral and classic petrol aromas. This mature wine shows ripe citrus and stone fruit across a textured palate, finishing smooth and balanced with gentle length and poise. Awarded Wine of the Year and Riesling of the Year with 98 points.
