The Vice Wine- A Luxury Brand from Napa Valley

The Vice is for the days meant to be dreamt, life to be lived and work, to be enjoyed

The Vice Wine is a luxury wine brand made in small batches. Each batch is a blend of hand-selected wine barrels that best express the grape varietal and the region that it comes from. The Vice Wine is a result of passionate labor, sustainable farming, along with the expertise of the wine industry and a current understanding of the consumer’s wine trend.

The Vice wine is about as personal of a brand as it gets. Everything is done by the founders. They drive the truck to get their fruit, they crush, bottle, label; they do everything by hand when possible. They design the labels, work the market, and sell the wine.

The winery believes that the best wines in the world aren’t the most expensive ones. They thrive at providing the best quality wine at the best value.

The Vice Chardonnay, 2013, Batch #1

A 100% Chardonnay that has been aging in oak barrels for 36 months. While only a few wineries in the world will ever release a Chardonnay that has been aging for this long, they believe that the craftsmanship of such quality wine requires patience.

The wine comes from 21 hand-selected barrels representing the best appellations of both Sonoma County (75%) and Napa Valley (25%).

The Vice Cabernet Sauvignon, 2014, Batch #2

Batch #2 is a Cabernet Sauvignon blend of 6 hand selected barrels, from some of the most iconic wineries in Napa Valley. Aged for 3 years in oak and bottled February 24th, 2017, their vision was to create a Napa Cab that captures the true essence of the year 2014.

Unlike the single vineyard Cabernets, this cabernet showcases a whole range of the signature Napa Valley flavors with a refined complexity and balance. Unfiltered and natural, they believe that this American wine is one of the very best values Cabernet Sauvignons in the world from 2014.

The Vice Pinot Noir Rosé, 2016, Batch #3

The near-perfect 2016 growing season started early, saw ideal weather conditions. Thanks to a relatively steady and mild July and August and then a series of warm days at the end of the growing season, vineyards were able to progress to perfect ripeness.

The Vice Sauvignon Blanc, 2016, Batch #4

Batch #4 is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from a certified organic single vineyard in the cool sub-appellation of Lovall Valley, one of the best kept secret AVA's in Napa Valley. Their Sauvignon Blanc is 100% clone 376 (French Entav clone). Their 2016 Sauvignon Blanc has been rated 89 points by Wine Spectator and 88 points by Wine Enthusiast.

The Vice Cabernet Sauvignon, 2015, Batch #5

Batch #5 is a single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from an iconic Yountville Vineyard established in 1973.

A vintage to be remembered for its high quality but significantly low yield (-40%), a result of a cool Spring season, a hot and dry summer. The quality of the fruit was outstanding although, in limited supply, it is likely to be recognized as one of Napa Valley’s greatest.

The Vice Pinot Noir Rosé, 2017, Batch #6

A wild vintage. The year began with abundant rainfall. A mild spring followed by a freak hail storm in June that nearly missed their vineyard. Two heat waves during the summer, a third one right after they harvested during Labor Day Weekend. Cool weather settled in until the wildfires ravaged the region starting October 8th. Luckily, their temperature-controlled winery wasn’t affected.
