Mandriola de Lisboa is the latest wine to join Aveleda, S.A.'s portfolio, born in the Lisbon region and inspired by the city's buzz, relaxed daytime steps and uncompromising nightlife. It represents the more relaxed, easy‑drinking side of Lisbon — a versatile wine that invites you to make the most of the here and now, enjoy the moment, and savor new experiences without haste or guilt. The red wine is a blend of Syrah, Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional, crafted by winemaker Diogo Campilho. With an intense red hue and rich, complex aromas, Mandriola de Lisboa red presents spicy notes and an emphasis on red fruit. On the palate it reveals an explosion of aromas, balanced acidity and elegant tannins — a silky wine with a long, persistent finish. Mandriola de Lisboa red 2023 was awarded a Gold Medal, 91 points at the London Wine Competition 2026. Judges described it as a medium ruby wine offering expressive red and black fruit, leafy vegetal notes, spice, and well‑integrated, juicy tannins with a soft, approachable finish. This accolade confirms the wine's quality and appeal for a broad audience seeking value, authenticity and enjoyment.
