The London Wine Competition proudly welcomes Kathrine Larsen MS to its esteemed panel of judges for the 2025 edition. Known for her exceptional palate, educational acumen, and extensive experience in the wine industry, Kathrine’s expertise will add tremendous value to the judging process.
Originally from Copenhagen, Kathrine’s journey into the wine world began in 2002, when she pursued hospitality training alongside internships at one- and two-Michelin-starred restaurants. In 2007, she moved to London, joining renowned D&D restaurants such as Le Pont de la Tour and Orrery, and later became Head Sommelier at Zuma.
Her accolades include being named UK Young Sommelier of the Year in 2013, the same year she earned her Master Sommelier title from the Court of Master Sommeliers, along with the Grand Siècle award for the highest exam results. The following year, she was crowned UK Sommelier of the Year.
Today, Kathrine serves as the Premium Wine Ambassador at Enotria & Coe, where she leverages her knowledge to elevate wine education and promote premium wines across the market.
