Ellie’s journey into the world of wine began after a successful career in finance, which she left to pursue her passions for wine and travel. In 2021, she launched her own consultancy, Amante Wine, providing bespoke services ranging from hosting private and corporate tastings to offering brand consultancy and ambassador roles. Ellie’s expertise is frequently showcased in her contributions to prominent publications, including The Buyer, Académie du Vin Library, and Harpers Wine & Spirit, as well as her engaging Instagram platform, @amantewine.

As a certified Spanish Wine Scholar and Sherry Educator, Ellie’s love for Spanish wines is unparalleled. She has also been recognized as a Top 5 finalist in the UK Spanish Wine Master competition and currently represents UK Sherry Week. Fluent in French and Spanish, Ellie continues to deepen her wine knowledge while studying for her Diploma in Wines with WSET Global.
