Domaine Du Chant D’éole Located In Belgium Shines At 2020 London Wine Competition

The Winery Domaine Du Chant D’éole Declared Belgium’s ‘Best In Show By Country’

Domaine Du Chant D’éole bags six medals at the London Wine Competition held on July 7, 2020.

Domaine Du Chant D’éole’s 2015 Chant D’éole Blanc de Blancs won a Gold medal along with ‘Best In Show By Country’ & ‘Best In Show By Varietal’. 2016 Chant D’éole Blanc de Blancs won a Silver medal. 2017 Chant D’éole Blanc de Blancs won a Gold medal. 2017 Chant D’éole Brut Rosé won a Gold medal.

The Chant D’éole Blanc de Blancs proclaims its expertise with its blend of Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc after at least 2 years of aging in the cellar. This wine provides you with notes of fresh fruit and ripe citrus fruits on the nose. It gives out a unique radiance, delicate bubbles accompanied by luminous gold reflections.

The very low dosage of Chant D’éole Blanc de Blancs and its long aging after disgorging (3 months) gives it unrivaled maturity.

In the opinion of their sommelier, Chant D’éole Blanc de Blancs has the presence of fine, elegant and silky bubbles, all the delicacy of Chardonnay. The bubble is pale gold in color with a reflection of straw.

On the nose, this wine is just as delicate. A beautiful intensity develops on aromas of apple, pear to give way to more buttery aromas, of toasted hazelnut. On the palate, a fresh and pleasant attack with tangy aromas of green apple. Pinot Blanc brings a nice roundness to the wine which counterbalances the acidity developed by Chardonnay.

The Chant D’éole Brut Rosé reveals its proficiency through its blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vinified in red after at least 2 years of aging in the cellar. The Chardonnay brings the finesse and liveliness of a very great rosé while the Pinot Noir offers a harmonious and delicate complexity.

The Chant D’éole Brut Rosé has pale pink reflections & has aromas of citrus and red fruits which are seductive. The very low dosage of this wine and its measured aging after disgorging (3 months) give it a maturity where Chardonnay and Pinot Noir can develop all their authenticity and purity.

In the opinion of their sommelier, the Chant D’éole Brut Rosé is silky and has delicate bubbles. It has a beautiful rose gold colour with a partridge eye reflection.

On the nose, Chant D’éole Brut Rosé has a beautiful intensity that develops with aromas of apple mixed with aromas of cherry, blackberry and raspberry. On the palate, this wine feels like an attack full of freshness with aromas of forest fruits and green apples. The Pinot Noir brings a very nice length in the mouth.

Created in 2010, Domaine Du Chant D’éole was created in 2010 forming an association between renowned Champagne winegrowers and a large family of Belgian farmers, the Ewbank family.

Conscious of the importance of the origin of the grape to guarantee the quality of their wines, the founders of Domaine Du Chant D’éole decided to constitute over the years the most beautiful Belgian vineyard. Chant d'Eole currently has a production capacity of 150,000 bottles per year.
