In 2004, Alex and Carrie Vik took on a tremendous challenge: to find a place that
offered all the right conditions for producing the world’s best wine. They assembled a team of winemakers, climatologists, geologists, grape-growers and agronomists to search for that place in South America.
In the heart of the Millahue Valley, we planted the first vines of Cabernet Sauvignon,
Carmenere, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah. There they began to grow, in that privileged terroir with its variety of micro terroirs and microclimates, most of them cooled by sea breezes.
The soul of the VIK project lies in our holistic wines, our four reds —VIK, Milla Cala, “A” and La Piu Belle red blend— and La Piu Belle rosé. Our blends are elegant, voluptuous, complex and well-balanced. We currently have
3 signature blends, aged in French oak barrels and our own Barroir* for more than 20 months.
