Château Ad Francos (the Latin name for Château des Francs) is a remarkable invitation to travel through the centuries and the history of France. From its hilltop promontory unfold magnificent rolling, wooded, and lush landscapes, typical of the Saint-Émilion region. A visit to the château and its unique winery offers an immersion into the world of the great Bordeaux wines and our splendid Côte de Francs terroir, which allows us to craft three exceptional wines in a “Grand Cru” style, including our AOP White—born from a long-standing historical tradition.
The creation of Ad Francos wines was entrusted to Michel Rolland, whose family lived at the château for more than a century. His deep knowledge of—and personal attachment to—the land of his ancestors enabled him to craft Ad Francos’ “tailor-made” Grand Vins, timeless and beyond trends, reflecting the exceptional character of this unique place.
