Paso-Primero is an independent, family-run winery founded in 2015 by Shropshire natives Thomas and Emma Holt. After gaining winemaking experience in New Zealand and Canada, they settled in Somontano, Spain—a region known for its high-altitude vineyards and diverse microclimates. Collaborating with Batan de Salas, a respected local winery, they produce wines that blend modern techniques with traditional Spanish viticulture.
