The Pozzobon winery has its roots around 1700, when it was born as a peasant settlement under the direct control of the nobleman Caotorta, in the Paolini countryside in Volpago del Montello, in the Belvedere area. Since its origins, the company has cultivated vineyards for the production of wine for the local nobility. In 1969, Countess Matilde Ponti, heir to the noble Antifone Caotorta, sold much of the Paolini countryside to the current Commendator Pozzobon, who has since produced and marketed his own wines directly.

Attentive to consumer health and environmental protection, the family has chosen to adopt the National Quality System for Integrated Production (SQNPI), a highly significant voluntary certification.
