The company Cramele Recaș represents one of the most important wineries in Romania, being the largest in the West of the country. With a long history (the first documentary attestation of Recaș vineyards dates back to 1447), Recaș Wineries exploits an area of ​​approximately 1300 ha. in the counties of Timiș (Recaş vineyard) and Arad (Miniș vineyard) and managed, in a fairly short period, the transition from a traditional type winery to one of the most modern local wineries with a production capacity of approximately 185,000 hl . In the plantations, there are more than 25 varieties of grapes on fruit, from which wines are produced for the 45 varieties of the commercial ranges developed by the producer in the country and for export. Within the premises of the Recaş Winery Complex there is also a Tourist Winery for organized groups with a serving capacity of over 100 people, where you can discover or rediscover all the types of wines that our company produces and bottles: they are the same wines that we export them to more than 25 countries including USA, Canada, Italy, France, Japan, Korea, Germany, Austria, UK, Sweden, Malaysia. In accordance with the company's slogan, "Out of respect for wine", the team of internationally certified winemakers (Hartley Smithers - Australia and Nora Iriarte - Spain) oversees, together with the resident winemaker Florin Voloacă, the entire winemaking process, with the ultimate goal of apply the best production methods to each bottle of wine and to improve and preserve the natural quality of the grapes. Recaș wineries are therefore recommended through: passionate owners, winemakers from different continents, dedicated people, sunny hills, fruitful vineyards and state-of-the-art winemaking technologies, as well as a renowned tourist winery operating under the highest standards international quality.
