P.A. Larsen was a legendary wine merchant in Kristiania (now Oslo) in the 19th century. They imported wine in barrels and bottled everything in the cellar below their shop. In 1922, they were forced to end the wine business because of the establishment of the Norwegian wine monopoly.

100 years later, with the blessing of the remaining Larsen family, we relaunched the name as a modern wine brand. Today, P.A. Larsen Vinhandel honours Norwegian wine history from before the wine monopoly with deep knowledge and a passion for wine in today’s market. Our portfolio includes wines from Burgundy, Bordeaux, Pfalz, and Rioja — all with a clear signature, focus on terroir, and balance between quality and price.

Heading product development is Pontus Dahlström: one of Norway’s leading sommeliers with more than 25 years of experience in the industry from legendary restaurants like Bagatelle, Maaemo and Kolonialen Bislett. 

Our wines have repeatedly received praise from the Norwegian wine press and have, in a short time, established us as one of Norway’s most exciting and ambitious wine brands.
