Our company takes its origins in a strong family tradition that, from 1800, started the cultivation of its lands.

The Zagarella Company born from the love for our land. Since the beginning, we set our aim in producing high quality wines, thanks to a balanced and synergic result of both nature and man’s work, in a complete and mutual respect. This aim is today our guiding philosophy for which we concentrate every day all our strength. The estate of the Company includes a total area of 70 hectares: 36 of them are cultivated in olive trees, 24 in wild chestnuts and 10 hectares in biological vineyards. All the cultivations are sweetly breezed thanks to their location on sunny hills with overlook on the Strait of Messina.

We use natural and advanced technologies to carry out the vinification process. Indeed, the Ganimede® system is the most important example of these techniques. This winemaking process allows our experts to manage grapes without any mechanical procedure maintaining the integrity of the taste and a natural decrease of the vinification's temperature. So, the wine obtained presents a strong extraction of the typical aromas of our grapes and its feature is strongly persistent in the glass.  What you find in a Zagarella bottle it’s not just a good wine, but a combination of the noble perfumes of South Italy and the job of an enthusiastic young team of managers who expertly combine earth and sun, technology and tradition, history and modernity.
