Cantine Cocoioni is a small winery immersed in the dreamy atmosphere of the hills of the Chianti Aretino with a longstanding family tradition dating back to the early decades of the past century. Driven by a passion for winemaking and love for the territory Cantine Cocoioni is ever more focused on quality and commitment to excellence. The Muriccioli wine is an exemplary product of this passion and commitment, possibly the most significant signature of the terroir with its unique vocation for cultivating the Sangiovese vines. Notably, the brand Cocoioni with the characteristic lily logo taken from an ancient Florentine engraving is a registered trademark. This was purposely chosen to frame this wine in a category of its own, a true niche product. As a side note, another line of product is presently aging in French oak barrels, namely a fine blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, which will be proudly presented at next year's LWC.
