Bodegas El Grillo y La Luna is a family winery located in Barbastro, in the Aragón region, at the foot of the Pyrenees very close to France and belonging to the small and exclusive Somontano Designation of Origin.

It was born in Barbastro in 2007 with the aim of creating wines with soul and a unique character.

“Patience” is the byworth at this winery, we wait for the optimum ripeness of each grape of each plot.

In ‘The Cricket and the Moon’, good things come to those who wait. Under the premise that wine is born in the vineyard, it only goes on the market at its optimum moment, without haste, respecting the uniqueness of each vintage.

Undoubtedly, maturity makes a difference in all the wines of this Somontano winery.
With 53 hectares, it is one of the smallest wineries in this D.O. Aragonese . Grillo wines are harvested by hand. There is no stipulated vintage date, it is decided by going out to the field and tasting grapes until optimum maturity is reached.

Thus, with love, serenity and determination, we obtain wines with body, freshness and balance, exceptional wines in which the terroir and grape variety achieve their finest and maximum expression.
