The Tinazzi family produces wines in Veneto and Puglia since 55 years and is the ambassador of Made In Italy quality in the world. The colours and flavours from these regions at the two opposite poles of this beautiful country merge into every glass.
In the ancient Veronese tradition, “tinazzi” were containers similar to barrels where pressed grapes were placed to ferment: the Tinazzi family is thus connected to wine even through the origin of their name. This curious anecdote is only the beginning of the history of Tinazzi, which starts at the end of the 1960s in Cavaion Veronese, on the shores of Lake Garda. Gian Andrea Tinazzi, the son of the founder who was only 18 years old at the time, directly followed his father in running the business and gradually expanded the company's horizons both in terms of production and markets.
Motivated by his lively, enterprising and proactive spirit, over the years he managed to transform the family business from a local institution to the current prominent group which extends between Veneto and Puglia in which the Tinazzi have been established since 2001.
Under his leadership, the group produces high quality wines, sold in over 50 countries worldwide. Their intuition has led the company to become one of the most compelling enterprises in Italian viticulture, with over 100 hectares of vineyards and a wide range of initiatives related to rural culture and hospitality.
Nowadays, Gian Andrea’s son and daughter Giorgio and Francesca work alongside their father in managing the important production group based in Lazise, on Lake Garda.
