It is very close to Castelmoron d'Albret, the smallest commune in France, that our cellar was built in 1935 in Mesterrieux. The old village station now serves as a barrel cellar. Our cellar takes its name from the famous Jeanne d'Albret, a woman of conviction and character, queen of Navarre and mother of King Henri IV, who owned lands and castles in Entre-deux-mers. She made history with her tenacious defense of Protestantism and freedom of thought. Heirs of this illustrious personality, our wines are today produced with the same passion; Passion which leads us towards organic farming for part of our vines.
