Our vineyard is located in the Southern Fleurieu, approximately 50km from the South Australian capital city of Adelaide. Among the great South Australian wine regions in the southern area, Nangkita Vineyard sits at Nangkita Hill in the middle of the wine region between McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. It has been described as the "Bulls Eyes" which can be seen while driving along Victor Harbour Road to the Great Ocean.
The vineyard is over 100 acres, with undulating fields down the hills to the pine tree-lined roadside. Its foundation is built on a uniquely deep sand soil, approximately 1m above limestone. White sand and well-drained soil help us to produce unique flavors and aromas.
Established in the 1990s, the vineyard grows Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Grapes are grown and wine is hand-made by lifelong passionate Vignerons and Winemakers. Several award-winning wines have been made from this vineyard over the years, and our wines are consumed both domestically and internationally in Europe.
