Cong is a wine writer, judge, retailer, sommelier, MW student, and owner of Amphora Cambridge, a wine shop and bar that was awarded the Decanter Retailer Awards Best Newcomer 2023, and runner-up in the Central & Eastern Europe Specialist Retailer category.

Cong was listed in the Harpers Top 50 Sommeliers in three consecutive years, reaching number 9 in 2024, and as one of CODE Hospitality’s Women of the Year 2023. Cong and Chef Steve Thompson were UK finalists in the Copa Jerez 2024 food and wine pairing competition.

She is a columnist at TimAtkin.com, has contributed to Harpers Wine & Spirit, and been featured twice in The Drinks Business. Her writing was recognised by the 67 Pall Mall Global Communicator Awards in their long list in 2024
