I am a wine and beer educator, Sommelier, consultant and events host with experience in hospitality, sales, trade marketing, marketing, distribution, retail and writing and am a WSET Certified Educator, Certified Sommelier, French, Italian & Spanish Wine Scholar (all Highest Honours), Beer Academy Beer Sommelier and Advanced Cicerone®. I am also an accredited cheese educator with the Academy of Cheese.

I am currently co-owner and head tutor at the South London Wine School. We hold wine, beer, sake & spirits tastings and formal wine, spirit, sake and beer education with WSET and BPET. I also write the Budvar blog.

I have been a professional educator working for ZX Ventures (Goose Island) training customers and colleagues in all aspects of beer and beer service for the last 3 and a half years co-developing the Beer Professional Education and Training (BPET) program. I also wrote promotional content for events and brand communication.

I have been a Wine Development Manager for a distributor and have managed and been a buyer for 3 specialist retailers of wine, spirits and craft beer and have been a restaurant manager with responsibility for beer and wine purchasing in Vancouver, BC. My duties included organising tasting and educational events for customers as well as private clients. I am a writer in the field of wine and beer, had articles published in lifestyle magazine 'Alive' as well as online and am a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers.

I am a certified sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers) and a WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) diploma graduate with The International Culinary School at the Arts Institute of Vancouver.

I have also qualified as a WSET Certified Educator and teach WSET courses in wine and spirit education.

I am a craft beer specialist and am an Accredited Beer Sommelier with the Beer Academy (part of the Institute of Brewing and Distilling) as well as an Advanced Cicerone®. I am a beer judge with experience at the European Beer Star, World Beer Awards, International Beer Challenge, London Beer Competition as well as SIBA competitions.
