Svetoslav Manolev MS is Portfolio Director at Armit Wines and one of the wine industry’s most respected Master Sommeliers. In 2019, he became the first Bulgarian to achieve the Master Sommelier title and was awarded the prestigious Dom Ruinart Trophy for achieving the highest score in the examination. His expertise spans fine wine, luxury hospitality, wine buying, portfolio management, and commercial wine strategy.

Throughout his career, Svetoslav has held senior sommelier and wine leadership roles across some of London’s leading hospitality destinations, including 67 Pall Mall, COYA Mayfair, and Roka Restaurants. His experience working closely with premium wine programs and global producers gives him a strong understanding of both wine quality and market positioning.

As a judge at the London Wine Competition, Svetoslav brings a commercially relevant perspective to wine evaluation, assessing wines not only on quality but also on value and packaging, with a clear understanding of what drives success in today’s competitive wine market.
