A veteran of the wine and spirits trade, Julie’s focus includes industry consulting, education, and journalism. As a WSET Certified Educator, she teaches WSET courses in San Francisco and her works have been published in Decanter Magazine, Harpers Wine & Spirit, The Drinks Business, THE PRESS (San Francisco Chronicle), Whisky Advocate, and more. Consulting for many areas of the industry such as brand positioning, media relations, and trade strategy, Julie has also judged for internationally recognized competitions such as Decanter World Wine Awards, Women’s Wine & Spirits Awards, San Diego International Spirits Competition, American Distilling Institute, and sat as a panelist for the 2020 Slow Wine awards.
