Sam has been in the wine trade for over twenty years during which time she has worked for fine wine merchant Armit Wines, at Wine Magazine as their tastings co-ordinator - which is where she first embarked on the Master of Wine programme – and more latterly as a wine buyer at Direct Wines before becoming an MW in 2011 when she set up her freelance consultancy business as The Mistress of Wine. She is now a judge, wine presenter on Saturday Kitchen, consultant, and host of corporate wine tastings and B2C events.
