Best Chardonnay Wines of 2018 You Must Try

1. Blanc de Blanc by Hoffmann & Rathbone

Blanc de Blanc has a wonderful nose with layers of citrus, apple, mango an aroma of warm, buttered bread fresh from the oven. It has deep flavors with savoury pastry notes, precise lemon, kumquat, and a yeasty finale. It is 100% Chardonnay, aged for 60 months or less. 

A touch of bloom honey enriches the tart but ripe apple notes of the nose. On the palate that honeyed touch turns into lemony, golden shortbread while the tart apple notes are joined by fresh, ripe lemon. Thousands of tiny, pin-prick bubbles make for a creamy, elegant mousse. This wine is exciting and elegant. It contains 12% alcohol, 10g/L total acidity, 7g/L residual sugar and 3.1 pH.

2. Luna Vineyards 2016 Chardonnay by Luna Vineyards

Luna Vineyards 2016 Chardonnay is from Luna Vineyards along the Napa River, therefore, Grapes of this vineyard takes benefits of the well-drained sandy soil. 

With lemon, honey, chamomile tea, and stone fruit on the nose and vanilla, preserved lemon, cinnamon spice tangerine, green apple, creamy toasted almonds, and citrus on the palate, this is 100% Chardonnay. 

It pairs best with Seafood, creamy dishes, hard cheeses.

3. Chardonnay by Imagery Estate Winery

Chardonnay from Imagery Estate Winery which is in California has aromas of lime, apple, and pear. Flavors of red apple and honeysuckle in the mid-palate and a touch of lemony acidity make it soft, easy drinking and keep the finish fresh. 

This white wine contains 13.5 % alcohol by volume. It is 95% Chardonnay and 5% Chenin Blanc.

Terroir Series- Chardonnay has citrus, vanilla, and toast on the nose. After the fermentation of 21 to 28 days, the juice, then, is aged for 10 months. Eclipse Chardonnay with a clear and bright pale gold appearance pleases us with white floral aromas. It has flavors of grapefruit and stone fruit in the pallet and is driven by fine bright acidity. With an elegant, smoky mid-palate and mouthwatering lees and mlf creamy finish, this is a must try for Kiwi Chardonnay lovers. It contains 1.0g/L Residual Sugar, 6.8g/L total acidity and 3.35 pH.
