I started in the wine trade in 1994 in retail.  In 1996 I spent 6 months in Burgundy learning something of how wine is made before returning to London to work at Corney & Barrow in private client sales. I joined Jeroboams Group in 2001, initially working in on-trade sales where I ended up as the Director, before moving over to buying.  I am currently the Wine Director, responsible for all aspects of buying and product training within the group. I became an MW in 2007 and have been involved in education and examination for the institute since 2008.
