With an extensive education in the wine and spirits industry, Antonio holds several certifications from the WSET in Wines and Sake. He started his career in the hospitality industry in 2005. He worked with several renowned brands and Rosette-awarded restaurants including Skylon of D&D London and City Social along with the Michelin-starred Hakkasan London and Petrus of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants.
Antonio has also proved to work successfully in large operations as Regional Sommelier for Piccolino, overlooking the wine program of 5 restaurants of the company with then moving to Sushisamba and Duck and Waffle.
He has been in charge of opening new businesses at Franklin's Wine Shop & Bar as the Wine Buyer at the omakase restaurant MARU as the Head Sommelier & Manager. He now works as the Sommelier at the Beaverbrook Townhouse in London. Some of Antonio's achievements include WSET Level 3 in Sake and Wine, Tea Champion at the UK Tea Academy, Semi-Finalist of the UK Best Sommelier 2019 and Top 21 Sommelier of the UK by the Harper's Magazine
