Certified Sommelier from Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas, Shane has an educational background in Culinary, Bar and Restaurant Management. He started his career in the hospitality industry back in 2011 primarily in Ireland along with his brother, Martin. After inclining towards the wine module while preparing for his hospitality degree, Shane became extremely passionate about the wine industry. What led him to join the wine industry in London in 2014 was a very expensive wine that he happened to open on Long Island, New York. Since then, he has been associated with wine and has taken up many roles over the years including Bar Waiter, Junior Sommelier, Assistant Head Sommelier and many more at some of the renowned restaurants and bars in London. He now works as the Group Wine Buyer at Goodman Restaurant Holdings and holds a great amount of wine knowledge.
